Before you spend weeks building

Find the reasons to build.
And the reasons to stop.

A before-you-build brief for your app idea: customer pain, alternatives, possible first customers and one practical demand test.

Automated research is currently paused

New and continued automated research runs are paused while we complete the pilot review. You can still load an existing report or use the free test planner.

Already have a research report?

Open your saved report link to enter its private access code. New research requests are unavailable during the pause.

Not an unlimited subscription or a checkout. New research and invitations are on hold. Get availability updates.

The decision is the deliverable

Know what to test before you pay to build.

What customers appear to struggle with—and what remains unproven.
What people already use, pay for and like.
A focused buyer hypothesis and possible places to reach them.
Reasons the idea may not work.
A small test with an observable pass/fail rule.

We search public sources, not private groups. A missing result is reported as a gap. We do not turn search hits into a “chance of success.”

Completed steps can be loaded with the report link and access code. Incomplete reports stay incomplete during the pause; loading one does not restart research. Uncertain paid requests are not automatically retried.

Cloud pilot reports are private to your code and the team. Removing a local worksheet does not delete a cloud report; ask the team to delete pilot data. Access codes expire, so download your results.
